How It Started

ChefSuite's journey began with co-founder Jay Modi, who spent 15 years working in his parents' pizza restaurants. After college, he briefly stepped away from the industry but always harbored a dream of opening his own restaurant.

In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, Jay, like many others, reevaluated his career path. Witnessing beloved neighborhood restaurants closing down, Jay teamed up with his longtime friend Jarnail Tucker to create a business plan. Their vision was to establish a ghost kitchen that truly supported restaurateurs, with a strong focus on chef tenants.
